Our harpsichord is based on the original Joannes Daniel Dulcken (1745) double-manual Flamish harpsichord. It is built for players who seek authentic response, colour and a concert-ready sound.
Paul McNulty and Sergei Krammer personally visited four museums to study and document original instruments on-site, creating high-resolution 3d scans of crucial elements: geometry, soundboard layout, bridges, scaling, and register design. This direct work with originals shaped the final construction and voicing, resulting in our closest match in sound to the historical examples we measured which has a concert-ready sound.
