Early fortepiano after the instruments Silbermann perfected with the aid of Johann Sebastian Bach. This type of piano was played by J.S. Bach’s son, Carl Philippe Emmanuel, in Potsdam at the court of Frederick the Great. An ideal instrument for mid-eighteenth century German solo and continuo music.
