Paul McNulty fortepianos

English versionFrancaisDeutsch

When logs are brought from the forest, they are sawn into boards in the garden and air dried for years. Final preparation takes place in my own drybox and long term storage in a climate controlled room, where finished parts stabilize.

We saw our own veneer in traditional thicknesses, which allows hand planing in the surface preparation.

We polish with shellac, as seen in old Viennese pianos.
